Portfolio
of some Completed Projects |
As Allerton
Landscaping Services has been designing and landscaping
in Liverpool for 33 years we have a very comprehensive portfolio, On
this page
we have a few samples of projects that we have completed.
From full landscaping
to patios, part garden landscapes and also a couple of our
driveways. All projects have before and after photos and most
will have 3D
models. The samples will be added to as we update the web
page. This is a slow process as we have over 2000 projects to sample,
it will
eventually lead to a very comprehensive guide to the history of
Allerton Landcscaping Services, spanning the
full
33 years of business and will show the quality and diversity of our work
Please scroll down below to see some

We completed
this project in 2011. Before designing the
garden we were asked for a low maintenance garden with a mature
planting feel, raised beds were used to help ease the maintenance.
We
created busy
beds to give an illusion of maturity with a reduced cost, as the more
mature the
shrub the more exspensive it can be. Various timber features where used
to help
create
an intimate feel and to screen the shed/utility area, Since completing
the
project we have designed a small front garden area to the property
and
installed it in 2012.

This is a
beautiful property at the top of Beaconsfield
which I had always wanted to work on and one day I was contacted and
asked
to design the garden area. I was asked to incorporate the
existing
granite
path into the design, I explained to the customer that I would come up
with
a design that would require lifting the path as I felt it was in the
wrong
place, if they didn’t think my design justifield lifting the path I
would then
design something with the path in place. Once they saw the
model for
the newly
designed garden without the path they fully understood the need to lift
the
path, which we did and then utilized the materials in the new design.
Since
completing the project we have been back to redesign and build the area
in front of
the house and to complete a couple of other jobs for the customer.

This customer
asked for something a bit different, possibly
something with a bit of a modern feel to it. I proposed doing
two
designs so we could compare them. I felt this way we could pin down
what the customer
was looking for more accurately. I produced one design which was a more
traditional design with soft curved lines and the other one which was
finally
accepted was designed at 45 degree angles to give a slightly more
modern feel. We
used decking and sleeper sized timbers to soften the garden and help
with
the maintenance. In keeping with the modern feel we
incorporated a 1 m2
mirror and a mirror ball water feature adjacent to one of the seating
areas. Since
completing the project we have designed and fitted a driveway to the
front of
the property.

We replaced a
existing tarmac drive with a tumbled block. Softened the
shape leading to the front door and dealt with the very
tricky
levels by the back gate. The photographs don’t do this work
justice but sadly that applies to all the portfolio photos.

This customer
was moving house and just required a quick
tidy up. I used slate over matting and introduced some planting
features to
take away any bland feel that could have been created. We
also
subsequently did
further work to the front of the property.

This back
garden was completed in March 2009. We were asked
to design a dog friendly garden that still looked like a garden.
The
idea of
having a wall round the lawn area was so the dog could be trained to
keep of the grass. We’ll never know if this would have worked
as they
decided
to get rid of the dog a coulpe of weeks after we’d finished the
project! More
because the dog was to big for the house than anything to do with the
garden. But all ends happily, as when we returned to the
house last year 2012 to
install
a front drive they had got themselves another dog that was enjoying
having the
run of our paved areas and was also staying off the grass due to our
cunningly
designed dog prevention measures.
